Niamh was born in the seaside town of Bangor, Northern Ireland on the 10th June 1990. She left school in early 2008 while studying for her A level's and moved to London to compete in BBC's I'd Do Anything. Niamh got to the final 12 girls competing for the coveted role of Nancy in the West End production of Oliver! After coming 5th in the competition, she returned to school to sit her A Level exams.
She made her progressional debut in July 2008 in the World Premiere of the musical Only The Brave at the Edinburgh Fringe playing the role of Belle and from here she went from strength to strength. She was a featured soloist in BBC Belfast Proms and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 60th Birthday Celebration in Hyde Park. Niamh also was a featured vocalist with the BBC Concert Orchestra on the BBC Radio 2 programme "Friday Night is Music Night" in October 2008 and, along with Rachel Tucker, held a special Musical Theatre show on BBC Radio Ulster.
Niamh was lucky enough to have the chance to delve back into her classical singing background and perform at St. Paul's Cathedral in the City of London to play the title role in "The Cry, a Requiem for a Lost Child."
In Christmas 2008 Niamh made her Panto debut, starring as Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne.
Shortly after, she played the part of Eponine in Les Miserables in Concert in Jersey.
In June 2009 Niamh made her West End Debut, playing the part of Sophie Sheridan in the hit musical Mamma Mia! alongside Sally-Ann Triplett at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London.
This West End stint was soon followed by another in the form of the World Premiere of Love Never Dies in the Adelphi Theatre in London beginning in March 2010 in which she played the role of Fleck.
She is also featured on the Original Cast Recording of Love Never Dies and Only The Brave.
She toured around the UK in 2010/2011 with Lee Mead as his guest in his self- titled concert tour.
After finishing her run in Love Never Dies, Niamh played the Wedding Singer in BBC3's Frankenstein's Wedding, Live in Leeds on 19th March 2011.
Niamh is Young Person's Patron for the charity Music Theatre 4 Youth. (MT4Uth)
